The most photographed lighthouse in America, perched 205 feet above the sea on a cliff beside Devil's Elbow, its white tower and red-roofed workroom glowing against the headland. It flashed its first light in 1894 and still blinks once every ten seconds. The keeper's house up the hill is now a bed-and-breakfast — and the ghost of Rue, a keeper's daughter, is said to still walk the path.
